Eve Hill is a retired elementary teacher, artist, children's book author, and nature educator. She enjoys teaching children to meet with success and to have fun learning. Eve and her husband, Terry, enjoy creating children's books and art together that brings joy.

My Writing Journey

As a child I loved going to the library, picking out a stack of books, and reading with my nose buried in each one while lying on the outdoor deck. Mountain breezes would gently blow against my face, as I listened to the birds singing their songs in the nearby trees.

I hiked and camped with my family, and fell in love with the out of doors. The exquisite beauty of the natural landscape in the western states filled me with awe and wonder. It was captivating and mesmerizing.

Writing became an expression for me when I wanted to pour my heart out about the beauty I experienced. Later, I turned my love of reading and writing to teaching children to read and write and find their unique voice. It has been so rewarding seeing their writing and illustrations made into class books. 

My husband and I enjoy creating together, so we began to explore different book ideas that have been on our hearts. Al’s Aussie Adventures A to Zed is our first book to birth together. Our second book is a coloring book that my husband illustrated and published called Awesome Animals Around the World. Together we recently published Zoom! Zip! Hover! Hum!
